Common garden tools found to contain toxic chemicals — Health — Bangor Daily News — BDN Maine
HealthyStuff.org, an offshoot of the Ecology Center in Ann Arbor, Mich., is an environmental nonprofit that has tested just about everything under the sun for the presence of toxic chemicals. Recently, the group extended its reach into the garden shed and the results may have you think twice before giving your dog a sip from the garden hose on a hot summer day.

Rose Ambrosia
A big thanks to Jerry Baker and Grandma Putts wisdom for this nifty concoction, I am going to mix it up right now.
1 cup beer
2 tsp instant tea granules
1 tsp rose flower food
1 tsp fish emulsion
1 tsp hydrogen peroxide
1 tsp dish soap
2 gal warm water
Give each rose 1 pint every threes weeks after watering.
Lets see if it resurrects some of my hungry roses.
